To wrap up Early College Week, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate our dual credit partner, Ivy Tech. We work closely with the Richmond campus to ensure our students earn the transferable credits they work so hard to attain! We want to extend a special shout out to Bambi Osswald, our K-14 Advisor from Ivy Tech. She is here every Tuesday and Wednesday and can help you with all of your college and future planning needs, regardless of your future college of choice! Be sure to reach out to her ASAP!

This week is Early College Week and today we are recognizing our alumni of the program! We’ve had 107 graduates complete the Indiana College Core from the class of 2017 through the class of 2022! These students have gone on to graduate college early, double major or pick up minors, study abroad, and save thousands of dollars in college tuition costs! Alumnus Zoe Whitehead, class of 2022, shared that she will graduate from Purdue University in only 2.5 years with 1 degree or has the option of attending for 3 years and will earn 2 degrees! Alumnus Maria Batt, class of 2019, shared that the coursework she completed at WCHS helped her to learn the study habits, essay writing tools and other key skills needed for success in college. We are so proud of our program’s graduates and all of their accomplishments!

He talked about the different careers that are related to racing for someone who is interested in the field. He also gave some good life advice to our students about pursuing your passions.
