The Hawk Award was created to celebrate our students and to encourage RCSC PRIDE including Persistence, Respectfulness, Initiative, Dependability, Efficiency, and the following traits: good character, positive influence with peers and in the classroom, humble, academically motivated, and an overall good role model.
This year's Male Student of the Year is Jayven Byrd! Jayven's teachers identified that he has been actively involved in school activities, meets all academic obligations, is hardworking, kind to others, follows through on things he starts, and shows all qualities of RCSC PRIDE. He is an outstanding student who continues to push himself and excel despite challenges and setbacks he has faced. Congratulations, Jayven!
This year's Female Student of the Year is TaMerra Edwards! TaMerra is a positive presence at DMS. She is hardworking, kind, and respectful to her peers and all adults in the building. TaMerra is very conscientious about her grades, willing to ask questions, and goes above and beyond in everything she attempts to do. Her teachers all said that she is a joy to have in class and they appreciate her kindness and compassion on a daily basis. Great job, TaMerra!

Mrs. Kress exemplifies the role of teacher in every way. She is compassionate, thoughtful, humble, and self-less. She truly cares deeply about the students she works with and goes above and beyond each and every day to meet their needs. She is patient, diligent, kind, and is always working to build connections and work through some tough behaviors to help students reach their potential. LADY FALCON VOLLEYBALL CAMP
The camp is June 10, 11, and 12, 2024 at Driver Middle School Gym. Times are as follows: 1st - 4th graders is 9:00 am - 10:30 am; and 5th - 8th graders is 10:30 am - 12:00 noon. Cost is $40.00 per camper. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Here is the registration link:

Registration is open for Winchester Pee Wee Cheerleading until June 4th for cheerleaders entering grades 3-5.
