Welcome to the Library Media Center at Driver Middle School. The school library media program is an important part of the school curriculum. It is a place where students may explore classroom subjects as well as independent study. The school library provides a setting where students may develop into lifelong learners. Students are encouraged to develop skills to help them become responsible citizens.

The library has 30 computer stations  and the Spectrum automation system. Spectrum is used for both circulation and an on-line catalog, and it is networked throughout Driver Middle School.  The library has approximately 11,000 books and subscribes to many different magazines and several newspapers. The library network includes Internet, Renplace, KCA, and Skillsbank.

The library has regular classroom visitations by each grade level reading class on a weekly basis however the library is open Monday - Friday from 7:50-3:05 for students to visit during free time or at lunch time after they finish eating.
Students have access to the library and computers during their classes and resource time.
